My name is Charlene Carlisle, and I would like to introduce myself as your candidate for “Director of District 2”. I live in New Jersey with my husband, where together we operate Little Hooves Romneys. Our focus is on our 150 head of sheep, plus 350 acres of hay & crop production. Although, I also work off the farm as an RN, production agriculture is our foundation.
As a dual purpose breed, romneys can be successful in many areas. We need both, the variety and success, of commercial, show & fiber flocks. The promotion of romneys in general will be a promotion for all of us in the end. In today’s economy, creativity and diversity is the key |
I continue to be a strong advocate for youth involvement in our organization. It is our responsibility to encourage junior members by setting good examples and mentoring them to become the next ARBA generation.
I have been actively involved with ARBA for 14 years and bring with me compassion & enthusiasm. It is my hope that with energy & fresh ideas, that ARBA can continue to move in a positive direction. Show your support for ARBA by casting your vote.
